PROMISING lawn bowler JACK McSHANE took centre-stage on Friday 9 November 2018 at Gladesville Sporties as one of the monthly winners in the 2018–2019 TWT Club Six/Ryde Sports Foundation Sports Star of the Year Award.
Jack was presented with a certificate of congratulations by Sporties club officials and is in the running for the top prize to be presented on Friday 3 May 2019 at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club where he and fellow monthly winners will also each receive a cheque for $1,000.
Hockeyroos sensation Mikaela Patterson and middle distance runner Jacob Leon were also monthly winners but were unable to attend the presentation.
