Having just celebrated our last Ryde Sports Foundation three (3) nominee's for the year last Wednesday night at North Ryde Golf Club with Ryan Reekie (Baseball), Stanley Chung (Squash), Jett Leong (Men's Field Hockey) they along with our other nine (9) nominee's for our 2025-2026 RSF Gala Sports Star of the Year presentation at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club. Awards to be presented include Sports Star of the Year, Encouragement and Rising Star Awards. Further details to be announced shortly. Concord & Ryde Sailing Club celebrated their 80th anniversary at the Deck House Woolwich last week with some very special quests, family, friends and Committee members. RSF would like to congratulate CRSC on a great achievement.
RSF would like to congratulate four of our previous sporting stars Sophie Dwyer (2016-17) secured her debut selection in the Diamonds Netball squad along with Kiera Austin (2012-13) at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Fellow swimming stars Se Bom Lee (2021-22) and Olivia Wunsch (2016-17) have also been selected in Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in USA and Commonwealth Games 2026 squads. We wish them all the best and hopefully they all collect some medals.
