Early this morning at 7.45am Premier Chris Minns opened the new Bennelong Sports Centre at the previous Marsden HS site before the first official games started at 8am. This complex is a very impressive centre with 29 outdoor courts and 4 indoor multi use courts for Netball, Basketball, Picket ball options available for the local community use. The sports centre will be operated by the Y NSW with Eastwood Ryde Netball Association (ERNA). RSF would like to thank the many Government Authorties, ERNA, Y NSW that put this state of the art sporting complex built and open today for the community use.
Last Friday night at North Ryde RSL we held our RSF 3 monthly nomination winners. Left to Right Jayden Chan (Badminton), Jarek Jozwiak (Padel Tennis), Timothy Forster (Athletics - Hurdles). Our next monthly presentation will be held at North Ryde Golf Club on 1st July 2026. We are looking for another couple of nominations to achieve our 12 monthly winners for our Gala Sport Star of the Year awards night at Ryde Eastwood Leagues on Friday 14th August 2026.
