Deb Harding

Deborah joins the Ryde Sports Foundation Committee with an Honours Degree in Physical Education and a background in Business Development, Event Management and Digital Marketing in both the Corporate and Small Business sectors. She’s an advocate for inclusion and for the past four years has been helping change lives through sport at the Putney-based charity Wheelchair Sports NSW/ACT.

Originally from New Zealand, Deborah has lived in Ryde for close to 20 years, representing both NSW and Australia in Dragon Boat racing. She’s an active member in the community, playing and coaching netball as well as supporting her children in their various sporting and recreational pursuits. In her spare time, you’ll find Deborah somewhere outdoors – hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing with friends.

Deborah is looking forward to discovering, encouraging and celebrating local sporting talent.
