Sports Stars 6 & 7: Abby Wilson & Angus McElroy

Junior Hockeyroos striker Abby Wilson and Ryde Eastwood Rugby League warrior Angus McElroy are the sixth and seventh monthly winners in the 2019-2020 TWT Club Six/Ryde Sports Foundation Sports Star of the Year Award.

The prolific scoring Wilson represented the Australian U/21s and is a current member of the Australian Hockeyroos Development Squad that toured China this year while iron man forward McElroy spearheaded the Ryde Eastwood Hawks to a maiden NSWRL Sydney Shield Premiership in September.

Both were recognised for their meritorious sporting achievements at a special presentation at 6pm on Friday 29 November 2019 at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club.
