Hunters Hill Sportsperson of the Year
The Weekly Times,
I’m very grateful for the opportunities and recognition I have received, especially being awarded Sportsperson of the Year in the Hunters Hill Australia Day Awards.
I would like the thank everyone who’s helped me so far, in particular: my parents and grandparents, teachers, coaches and team mates, super-advice.com.au, Ryde Sports Foundation and Hunter’s Hill Council for selecting me.
I think it’s important we use the talents and opportunities we’re given, to work to the best of our ability, to recognise that we only get a few chances and most importantly, not to let people who think they are better set us back.
This is important to me because I put in a lot of hard work and dedication, so I love being recognised for my sporting activities. I really appreciate everything that has been done to get to where I am and I’m committed to keep striving to be my best.
