Maddy Bergfield

Ryde Athletics Centre’s talented field athlete Maddy Bergfield received the Club Six Encouragement Award at the 2014–15 TWT Club Six/Ryde Sports Foundation Sports Star of the Year Gala Presentation Dinner on Friday 1 May 2015, at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Club.

Maddy received the Encouragement Award for her powerful performances at the National All Schools, NSW Junior and Oceania Championship in all four throwing events—javelin, discus, shot put and hammer throw which is a remarkable feat given the different skills required.
