Timothy has made his mark as a hurdler, culminating recently with his first Australian Athletics Title in the Open Men’s 60m hurdles at the 2026 Short Track Championships as well the Open 110m hurdles at the prestigious 2026 ACT Athletics Championships.
In 2025 Timothy won two silver medals at the NSW Open and U23 Championships and in his first Australian Open 110m Championships in 2026, Timothy placed fourth. As well as receiving numerous club awards and recognition, he is currently currently ranked 1st in Australia in 110m and 60m hurdles. At the World Athletics Continental Tour event in February, Timothy placed fourth in the Open 110m hurdles.
In March, he won silver at the NSW Open Athletics Championships.
In April, Timothy broke the 14 second barrier for the first time (full height hurdles), setting a new Ryde Best Performance on Record placing sixth at the Australian Open Athletics Championships. TIMOTHY FORSTER is a second-generation Ryde Athlete and grandson of Club Legend Ross Forster.
