BRANDON LIU‘S water polo career started when he joined the M13 team at The King’s School’s in February of 2021. He joined Ryde Rhinos in October 2021 and since then, he has played in various levels alongside with the club games and The King’s School games.

At a National Level, in 2023-2025, he was selected for the National Age Squad; 2023, the 16&U Men’s Green Team European Tour; 2024, came 10th in the 16&U world championship and in Turkey came 2nd; and in 2025, was selected for the 18&U European Tournament in Spain and Montenegro. Along with his water polo journey, Brandon also enjoys playing piano and cello, plays in The King’s school symphony orchestra and is a member of the school chess club. He also came third at the Nationals robotics championships 2023. He is respected at Ryde Water Polo Club for more than his skills in the water but his determination, work ethic, kindness and support of younger players.
